About Me

My name is Carla, but I also go by Cj so you can call me either one when and if we ever talk to each other!

I am a behavioral health technician that also goes to online college so that I can get my degree in Computer Science. I have very little knowledge in actual information technology, but I hope to learn more as I have more classes. I have used computers for a long time - majority of my life - and even if I don't know the name of some programs or know how a computer works through mechanics, I can still do more than the majority of people my age when it comes to a computer.

When I went to high school, I was typically the person teaching other students how to do certain things on their computers for assignments. I, even, ended up being the guinea pig for my business teacher when it came to what she thought she may teach. Since I was finished with all my classwork for her within the first few months, she would allow me to go over the programs that we would use and if there was nothing to do she would allow me to use her class as my free time.

Career Aspirations:

My biggest thing is that I simply want a job that requires me to be around a computer. That could be as simple as a secretary all the way to the IT person in a company. As long as it has to do with computers I am all for it!

What I hope to get from this course and my other course is how to efficiently use any computer for any kind of business that I may work for in the future. I want to know how a computer works to just opening a random page to knowing how to fix a problem if something were to arise - personal or business-related.
